Transparency International Macedonia has been established in 2006 and is a member of the global coalition for fight against corruption Transparency International which has national chapters in more than 100 countries worldwide.
The vision of Transparency International Macedonia is elimination of corruption from the Macedonian society and the establishment of a system of rule of law and a society in which the citizens and institutions fight corruption and the unlawful policies.
The mission of Transparency International Macedonia is oriented towards analysis of the national legislation, comparative analysis and recommendations for improvement of the legal framework, detecting vulnerabilities in the laws and the legal framework that enable corruption, analysis of the national integrity system of Republic of North Macedonia through analysis of the anti-corruption pillars, cooperation with key stakeholders (public institutions, civil society, business community, media, citizens).
Transparency International Macedonia actively collaborates and is included in numerous networks on a national and international level. TI-Macedonia is a member of the Platform of Civil Society Organizations in the Fight Against Corruption, the Coalition for Protection of Whistleblowers of Southeast Europe (https://see-whistleblowing.org/), and UNCAC (United Nations Convention against Corruption https://uncaccoalition.org/).
Corruption is everywhere: politics, media, culture, education, health, business, judiciary, civil society, among citizens, as well as in other societal branches.
