18.06.2010 President of Anti-Corruption Commission Ilmi Selami  expressed concerns as corruption prevails in all sectors across the country but mostly in judiciary, administration and customs.

The participants in the third annual conference for assessment of the State program on prevention and corruption repression concluded that it is necessary to involve all state and social factors in the fight against corruption.

Slagjana Taseva, president of Transparency-Zero Corruption said that the activities are not well conducted, She urged for improvement of the cooperation between the institutions in order to strengthen the efficiency in the fight against corruption.

The old problems remain an issue and that means that the institution's capacity must improve. We adopted laws and we have pretty good legal framework in the fight against corruption, but we still need to work on becoming more efficient, she said.

The Anti-Corruption Commission can't work alone in the fight against corruption. The fight against corruption should be ran in the frameworks of several sectors by building a protection mechanism.

Justice Minister Mihajlo Manevski said that he had noticed a progress in the fight against corruption and the strengthening of the institution's capacity. Manevski said that legal framework  is of great importance for the fight against corruption.
