Mission Statement, Values and Guiding Principles

 

 “Transparency - Zero corruption” and all its members shall be guided in their work by the mission, values and guiding principles of the Association:   

Mission   

A state in which the Government, politics, business, civil society and people’s everyday life are free of corruption.

  • Solidarity
  • Courage
  • Justice
  • Democracy
  • Integrity

 

Guiding Principles 

 

"Transparency - Zero corruption" obliges itself to abide by the following principles:  

 

1.       We shall cooperate with all domestic and foreign governmental and non-governmental organizations and bodies, individuals and groups, as well as with the media that fight against corruption, in accordance with the policy and priorities established by the management bodies of "Transparency International" and "Transparency - Zero corruption";

   

 2.       We oblige ourselves to be transparency, accountable and responsible in our work;

   

 3.       We shall be democratic, without party affiliation and non-selective in our work; 

 

 4.       We shall most severely condemn bribery and corruption whenever discovered, although we ourselves shall not disclose the names in individual cases of corruption;  

   

5.       The positions we shall assume shall be based on reliable, objective and professional analysis and high research standards; 

   

6.       We shall accept funding that shall not compromise our opportunity to accomplish independent, solid and objective results; 

   

7.       We shall take due care that our associates get timely and correct reports about our activities;

   

 8.       We shall respect fundamental human rights and freedoms.  

   

 9.       We agree to build and work with and through national branch offices throughout the world; 

   

10.    We shall strive towards balanced and equitable participation of members in our managing bodies.
